Feedback regarding a presentation to Alameda Gateway Community Association & Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District on January 9, 2008:

Please convey my sincere appreciation to Judges Graham and Bernard for their outstanding presentation.  I can't tell you how many e-mails, phone calls and personal conversations I've had with AGCA folks saying that was one of , if not the "best" presentations in terms of relaying unknown information about the whole selection process.

This is the best program we have had in a long, long time.

Feedback from a presentation to the Evergreen Kiwanis Club on February 7, 2008:

I want to give you some very, very positive feedback on the presentation last week at the Evergreen Kiwanis.  I, unfortunately, had to miss it, but over and over again, members told me today that the presentation last week was one of the best programs that we have had in a long time.  Thanks for offering and organizing this and I will send a personal thank you to Judge Stewart and Mr. Baker.

Feedback from a presentation to the Columbine Kiwanis Club on February 20, 2008:

This was a very informative program.  I learned a lot of new information regarding our judicial system.  Most people have no idea about becoming a judge, retention, etc.  This should be required material before one votes.

Feedback from a presentation to the Community College of Denver Auraria on April 14, 2008:

"The presentation by Judge Valeria Spencer was great.  The students really enjoyed it and learned a lot.  It is so important for paralegal students to see a part of the "real" world and to see true professionals in the legal field.  Judge Spencer is a great role model and provided a positive influence for them in their career endeavors. Feedback from Heather Gardens Optimist Club on May 1,2008:

Your presentation on Our Courts was enlightening and well accepted by our group.
Several of our members came to me afterwards and expressed their thoughts as to how well it
was laid out and what a neat job you did in explaining it.
This helped me to better understand how complicated the court system is and yet how thoughfully
it is handeled. Thank you for giving us your time.

Feedback from the Colorado Citizens Police Academy Association on April 17, 2008:

Your program gave us the opportunity to see judges as people as well as fair and impartial arbiters of the law.  Being able to include personal anecdotes and information about past cases definately added to the interest you generated.  We Believe we have a more complete and sequential look at the justice system both within our state and on the federal level.

Feedback from the AARP organization on June 17, 2008:

A number of our members told me afterwards that this was news to them.  They had no idea how complex the systems were for selecting and evaluating judges.  They enjoyed hearing from "real judges" in an informal setting.

Feedback from the Westcliffe Library & Community Event on June 28, 2008 presentation:

As a County Commissioner I want to Thank the system for providing us the opportunity to have our regional Judge, Norm Cooling come to Custer County to provide an outstanding workshop about our court system.  I want you to know how much we appreciate having him come last Saturday.

He made it clear how important it is to return the evaluations of Judicial Performance.  One of our immediate family members did receive a blue evaluation form, but did not complete it and mail it in.  They now understand the importance, and if it is not too late, wants to send it in.  However, he misplaced the return envelope.  Could you please give us the address where you want this evaluation sent?  It is ok to respond to this email with the address.  Thanks.
