Our United States Courts Presentation

This program provides a wonderful introduction to our federal courts in Colorado.  The presentation begins with a discussion of our two parallel but separate government systems, the federal and the state systems, and explains how our federal courts fit into that structure.  We then explore how our federal courts themselves are structured and the types of cases that they hear.  Next, we discuss how our federal judges are selected and how long they serve.  Finally, we note the many ways in which we keep our federal courts fair and impartial.
